The right AI
for each job.

Inside ShopStaff, we use AI from Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, each for the work it suits best. We choose which one to use, so you don’t need to pick an AI or sign up for anything separately.

Claude
AI from Anthropic. Writes the things that should sound natural and friendly, like your staff’s messages and daily reports.
ChatGPT
AI from OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. Builds step-by-step writing such as the steps in suggestions and campaign plans.
Gemini
AI from Google. Sorts the changes on competitor sites and organises large amounts of information.

If one AI goes down, we switch to another and keep working. All you connect is Shopify. You can add Instagram later, whenever you like.

We never change your store.

ShopStaff only reads your order, product and customer information and adds a small piece of code to record store visits. We never change your products, prices, design or settings.

We never enter your customers’ names, addresses or email addresses into AI, and as a rule we don’t store them either.

Our privacy policy explains what information we use and why, how long we keep it, and how it’s deleted.

FAQ

Can I use it with a store that isn’t on Shopify?

ShopStaff is AI staff for running a Shopify store, so you’ll need a Shopify store to use it.

What do you check on competitor stores?

We check their sites for new products, price changes and new pages such as campaigns and features. You can compare your promotions, shipping, search visibility, usability and checkout flow with the scores of the competitors you’ve added (averaged when you add two or more). On Pro, you can also see engagement on competitors’ Instagram posts and a score for each account. Competitor research only looks at public information — never pages behind a login or personal data.

I’m not a numbers person. Can I still use it?

Yes. Your staff read your sales and customer activity and explain in plain words what’s happening and what might be worth doing. If anything’s unclear, just ask for a strategy meeting.

What do I need to get started?

Just a Shopify store. Approve ShopStaff in Shopify, then add the competitor sites you want to follow. You can connect your store’s Instagram (professional account) later. To get started, choose Start 7-day free trial.

Does it work for a small store?

Yes. Seeing what competitors are changing, and what most stores already do, helps you decide what to work on. While your own numbers are still small, we only tell you what they can reliably show.

Do I do the work myself?

Yes. ShopStaff tells you what to do, why, and how. You read the suggestions, choose what to take on, and make the changes yourself.

Will ShopStaff change my store without asking?

No. ShopStaff only reads your order, product and customer information and adds a small piece of code to record store visits. We never change your products, prices, design or settings.

If I follow the suggestions, will my sales go up?

We can’t promise more sales. Every suggestion comes with the reasons and the steps, so you can check whether it suits your store before trying it.

How do you handle my customers’ information?

We never enter your customers’ names, addresses or email addresses into AI, and as a rule we don’t store them either. See our privacy policy for details.

When and where do the daily and weekly reports arrive?

Reports are switched on from the start. From the morning after you connect Shopify, yesterday’s report arrives by email every morning, sent to your store’s email address in Shopify. You can change the address or stop the reports in Settings at any time.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. Both Standard and Pro are free for 7 days from the day you approve the plan in Shopify, and you won’t be charged until the trial ends. After that, your plan is charged every 30 days and added to your Shopify bill. The free trial can only be used once per store.

Which plan should I choose?

If you’re starting by following changes on competitor sites, choose Standard. If you also want competitors’ Instagram, search trends, seasons and industry news, we recommend Pro. Competitor sites: Standard: 1 site, checked weekly; Pro: 5 sites, checked daily. Improvement suggestions: Standard: 5 a month; Pro: 30 a month.

What currency are the prices in?

Prices are in US dollars. If your Shopify bill is in another currency, such as Australian dollars, Shopify converts the amount on your bill. Depending on your country, Shopify may also add tax.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel any time from your Shopify admin. You won’t be charged by ShopStaff until the free trial ends.
